You Can Tell God About Car Problems

The old car that my daughter, Kristy, was blessed with had transmission problems. She needed the car to go to work.

The question I asked her was, “Did God gave you the car so you can have a breakdown on the road?” and the other question the Israelites asked was, “ God, did you take us out of Egypt so we can die in the desert?” As humans, our vision is limited. We don’t see what God sees, and we cannot comprehend His plan for us.

I suggested to her that, because we are women without a lot of money, our only recourse is to pray. I told her that God could fix anything and He had already done it for us in the past. Our white van had some issues that the mechanic had seen with his own eyes, but when he drove it for 20 miles, the problem went away. When my son got stuck in Yukon Canada 3 yrs ago, he could have died but strangers rescued him and when he opened his iTunes screen, it said, “your guardian angel.” So God/angels also use technology. God had performed so many miracles in our lives, we would run out of the page to tell it.

Armed with the knowledge of God’s faithfulness, I told her, we would pray that God would send angels led by Angel Gabriel to take her and her car to work. If something would happen, then she could call five guys (2 brothers, 1 friend, 1 cousin and 1 uncle/Pastor) and one of them should be able to rescue her. But, I thought the angels could handle her all on their own and would not need the guys. The next day, I checked on her, and she had made it to her workplace. Then, we prayed again that the angels would take her back to her home and they did! The following day she brought the car to a mechanic. The engine light was on for the sensor. When I got a message on my phone, “omg mom.” I thought,”Yes!”

The mechanic drove the car on the highway, and the transmission was not slipping anymore. So there was nothing to fix.  Praise God! It has been more than a week, and the car is doing just fine. If I had the money to buy a new car, then I would miss the miracle He wanted me to see, and I would just go on in this life thinking money is the answer to everything.  God is more powerful than money, but He requires for me to abandon myself to Him completely. Our God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or dream according to His power that works in us. Eph. 3:20

Gender Error On Immigration Card

Our God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or dream, according to His power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20.

On Nov 5th, 2017, our daughter, Kristy was scheduled to leave the Philippines for Hawaii to meet us for a family reunion and to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.

The Philippine immigration denied her boarding because she is on a student visa and they required an I-card. She missed her plane, and they told her to go to the Immigration office in Intramuros. She booked a hotel in the area so she could walk to it the next day. The only thing was, she had to cross a big freeway, and she almost got hit by a bus! When she arrived, they advised her that she needed to go to the office in Quezon City, a 40-minute ride away. She took an Uber by herself, and when she got there, they said that the I-card should come from her school in Davao, which was 1 hr and 45-minute plane-ride away. She contacted the school, and they sent the card in an overnight mail, but when it finally arrived, it showed that she is a male! Gender confusion might be alright in the US but she was in the Philippines, and they aren’t as confused yet. Getting a new card would take weeks and pointing it out might cause the Immigration to deny her boarding again. After all, this card is a legal government document, and there should not be any discrepancy. IMG_4063

She decided that she would go through with the flight and just pray that the angels will be with her. I asked the Lord if He could transform himself into an immigration officer and check her in.

May the Angel Michael (Who is like God), the angel of love, be by her right side so the officers would be full of love for her.  May the Angel Gabriel (Gever-strong man, hero, El- God), the angel of strength, be by her left side so he could show them, God’s strength and power. May the Angel of light, Uriel (El-God, Uri-my light), be at the front so he could cast a blinding light on the document. May the Angel of healing Raphael (Rapha -to heal in Hebrew, El- God), be behind her so he could keep her in top shape and above her, the glorious presence of God.

Realizing the seriousness of the situation, I made a request for prayer to a group of friends with the Nathaniel Fellowship, Eitz Chaim Congregation, family in the Dallas area, Hawaii, and the Philippines. I prayed with expectation and believed with all my heart that God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we ask or dream according to the power that works in us. God has been faithful in the past, and He will be faithful again. I begged God for a miracle and reminded him that a lot of people need encouragement.

To miss a flight again because of a discrepancy in the ID would mean a loss of $2,000 ( the cost of the old and new tickets). We just wanted her to come home and be with us during our family reunion and 30th wedding anniversary in Hawaii.  We rescheduled her flight for November 9th. She voiced concern that maybe we should buy a flight insurance. I explained to her that it is difficult to get flight insurance originating from other countries and the one I purchased through the airline only covers illness or death even though it was labeled “total protection.” I assured her that God is our insurance. She agreed. The day before takeoff, she sent me a message that she had an abdominal pain. The pain usually disables her. She hoped that it will be gone by the next day. I reminded her that the Angel of Healing, Raphael, will be with her to keep her in top shape. A few hours later, she sent a message that the pain was gone! It was a good sign because it meant that the angels were doing what they were supposed to do with God’s direction.

The plane was scheduled to leave the Philippines at 5:30 pm on Nov 9th. In the US, it would be 4:30 am. I figured she would be going through the immigration around 1:00 am, but at 12:01am(US time), I got a message that she made it through. HalleluYah! God showed himself strong! Kristy imagined the angels by her side walking her through the Immigration. The Angel of love made everyone kind to her as they remembered her being denied boarding. They must be really blinded by the light as Kristy even left the card with them to get some change from a machine to pay the fees. Yet, they did not say anything.

I notified all the prayer warriors so they could share in the excitement of their answered prayers. To God be the glory!

The 9th was also the day my husband, and I flew to Hawaii. It was a great feeling when we finally saw our daughter, and we were reunited! Praise The Lord for the mighty things He has done! Satan tried to attack us on both sides but he lost!

Our family was complete when we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. We were also thrilled to meet Gabby (Gabriella) Martinez, Kevin’s fiancee from Ecuador. She is a wonderful person, and we thanked God for picking the right person for him.

IMG_3838

After Kristy’s ordeal, we launched into a discussion about her future. If she goes back to the Philippines, the card issue is still there, and she could be denied boarding again. We prefer not to give them another chance. We lost faith in the school’s foreign students administration office, who should have anticipated the needs of an international student when leaving the country. It could be an oversight but losing $1,000 is a lot of money for a working-class family. It was scary to be prevented from going home to her own country. We also noticed a lot of incompetence on the part of the school and the Immigration. They give instructions piece by piece, and it is like chasing the wind, wearing you out. Although Kristy was extremely happy in the Philippines, her physical body suffered. Her eczema flared up due to stress and difficulty in obtaining organic food readily. She was in ER 3x in the last few months due to allergy, GI disturbances, and migraine. We all agreed that Kristy should stay in Maui. The sooner she builds her life in the US, the better it is. If she creates her life in the Philippines, she would have to leave eventually, and it would make it harder. After staying for a year in the Philippines, Kristy bonded with her family and gained a lot of friends. Her part-time volunteer job improved her confidence. She experienced tender loving care in a unique way only Filipinos can provide. Her worldview is broader, and she is stronger. Every penny we spent was well worth it. We are thankful for our family and friends in the Philippines who supported and protected her. We can never repay their kindness but God can. She met new friends (and some assumed parental role), who will be a part of her life forever. It was a great experience! It looked like the purpose of her being there was accomplished. We are grateful for Ross and JP who took care of her belongings and cleaned the apartment.  In the meantime, she is looking for a job to start a new life.

As soon as Kristy made the decision to stay, our relatives in Maui, Pastor Bong, and Darlene Ronquillo, offered for her to stay at their house. They said that she could use the extra car they have. When we visited them at their home, it was then that we realized, they were giving the car to her! The title was transferred to her name the next day, and she became a car owner without even planning to be one. We appreciate Yasha, their daughter for willingly sharing her room, and Bar, their son, for transferring the title of his car to Kristy. The car may not be new, but it runs like a dream. She took us to the airport in it!

IMG_4136

Things happened so quickly she is asking herself, “What is happening?” Only God knows and we can depend on our God, who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can ask, or dream, according to His power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20.

How To Anoint Yourself And Your Home

Anointing with oil is something that is not talk about much. Recently, I became very interested in this practice and I decided to actually act on it. These verses from the bible are compiled by open bible.com and it gives me a clear understanding of what I need to know.

James 5:14 ESV

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

James 5:13-16 ESV

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.

Mark 6:13 ESV

And they cast out many demons and anointed with oil many who were sick and healed them.

You shall consecrate them, that they may be most holy. Whatever touches them will become holy. …

James 5:14-15 ESV

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Psalm 45:7ESV

You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions;

The Holy Anointing Oil

1. Set apart a small amount of oil in a special bowl. Olive oil is recommended as it symbolizes strength and longevity. If you prefer, you can follow the ingredients in Exodus 30:22-25. Otherwise, olive oil by itself will do.

22 Moreover the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 23 “Also take for yourself quality spices—five hundred shekels of liquid myrrh, half as much sweet-smelling cinnamon (two hundred and fifty shekels), two hundred and fifty shekels of sweet-smelling cane, 24 five hundred shekels of cassia, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, and a hin of olive oil. 25 And you shall make from these a holy anointing oil, an ointment compounded according to the art of the perfumer. It shall be a holy anointing oil. 26 With it you shall anoint the tabernacle of meeting and the ark of the Testimony; 27 the table and all its utensils, the lampstand and its utensils, and the altar of incense; 28 the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the laver and its base. 29 You shall consecrate them, that they may be most holy; whatever touches them must be holy.[a] 30 And you shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister to Me as priests. Exodus 30:22-25

2. Pray over the oil

“Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who commanded us to make a sacred anointing oil.” “Lord, I dedicate this oil to you in obedience to your command. May this oil fulfill the purpose that you have intended for it to be.” (Exodus 30:22-25)

3. Pour the oil into a glass bottle, cover and keep in a special place, ready for use.

4. Blow the Shofar but if you don’t have it, you can go to youtube and sound the horn from your cellphone (Sound of victory )

Anointing Yourself / Family

1. Ask God to forgive you of any sins and if you have not accepted Him as your Lord, this is the time to do so.

“Lord Jesus, I repent of all my sins. I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you for offering yourself as the ultimate sacrifice for the forgiveness of my sins. ” (Skip this part if you are already a child of God.)

2.Wet your fingers or hands with the oil and place on your head forehead and all over your body. Say a prayer:

LORD in your mercy , I offer myself as a sacrifice, living and set apart for You as a temple of worship, that I may please you.  Help me to refuse the standards of this world but transform me by the renewing my mind so that I will know what You want and what is good, acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:1-2) Let the gates of my life and city be open to the King of Glory! (Psalm 24:7) I rebuke every enemy in the gates (Psalm 127:5) My gates will always be open to receive the blessings from God. (Isaiah 60:11)

In Jesus’ Name (B ‘Shem Yeshua). Amen.

Hallelujah!

Prayer When You Are Lonely

This is a prayer that you can say when you are lonely. You may be lonely because you are alone or you may be around other people but feel all alone. Whatever your situation is, there is hope for a better day. Hannoten Teshua – The Giver of Salvation (Hebrews 5: 9) can help alleviate your loneliness. His Spirit will keep you warm. Let us not forget that the enemy will also use the situation to make you feel lonely and miserable. You must cast out the spirit of loneliness. Say it loud because it really works!

When you pray, you must bless The LORD. Try hard to forgive others. Search your mind of any sin and confess them before the Father.  Thank The LORD for everything. Be gracious and you will be blessed!

Here is the short prayer:

God (Elohim), You are my refuge and my strength. You are my help when I am in trouble. I cast all my anxieties on You for You care about me. Spirit of Loneliness, You depart from me right now in The Name of Jesus (Yeshua), Who gave me the authority to trample down snakes and scorpions and to disable all the power of the enemy! You cannot harm me for God has promised to deliver me! LORD (Adonai), heal my broken heart and bind up my wounds.

I will not fear or be dismayed for You are my God. Strengthen me, help me, and uphold me with Your right hand of righteousness! Eternal God, You are my refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms.

You thrust out the enemy from before me and destroy them. Renew my strength. Let me mount up with wings like eagles. Enable me to run and not be weary. Help me as I walk that I will not faint.

In Jesus’ Name (B’Shem Yeshua). Amen.

My Personal Prayer For Success

This is a prayer for personal success. The words are from the Holy Scripture. It is tried and tested.

We must always bless the King of the universe whenever we approach His throne.  The next thing we need to do is to forgive others. In order to appear clean before the LORD, we have to confess our sins. We must take the opportunity to thank The LORD before we recite to Him a long list of our desires. After we have done all these then we can say the following prayer.

LORD (Adonai), bless me and keep me. Make Your face shine upon me and be gracious to me. LORD (Adonai), lift up Your countenance upon me and give me peace.

LORD (Adonai), You are faithful. You established me and kept me from evil. Remove from me, all bitterness, wrath, anger, screaming, and evil speech including malice. Please cover (me/ us) with the love and blood of The Lamb. Help me to be kind to (name of spouse) and enable me to forgive.

Place a hedge of protection around (me/ us) and our children. Be gracious to me and be my strength every morning. LORD (Adonai), remind me that I am working for You, and not for men. Help me to do my job with excellence and with all my heart. Enable me to honor You with my tithes and offerings.

Help me to fulfill my responsibilities without complaining. LORD (Adonai), defend me from the enemy. Father (Abba), if You are willing, please do not permit the adversary (HaSatan) to touch me.You are the LORD Who Heals (Adonai Rapha). There is a victory in The Name of Jesus (Yeshua)!

Keep me healthy LORD (Adonai)! Spirit of infirmity, depart from my body right now! Come out of me in The Name of Jesus (Yeshua) Who gave me the authority to trample down snakes and scorpions and to disable all the power of the enemy! Go away and do not come back in The Name of Jesus (Yeshua)!

LORD, (Adonai), help me to obey Your instruction, to walk in Your ways, to keep Your statutes, Your commandments, Your ordinances, and Your testimonies, written in the law of Moses, that I may prosper in all that I do, and wherever I go. LORD (Adonai), I beg you, let Your ear be attentive now to my prayer.

I delight to fear Your Name. Please grant me success today. Grant me mercy and favor in the sight of my co-workers and leaders. I can do all things through Jesus (Yeshua), The Messiah who strengthens me.

God of Hope, fill me with all joy and peace. I believe that I will overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. I cast all my cares upon You. Thank You for caring for me. LORD (Adonai), Honor and glory and blessing be Yours today.

In Jesus’ Name (B’Shem Yeshua). Amen.

The Promised Land

The Promised Land Is Also A Battlefield

The promised land is also a battlefield. I have been a spiritual warrior for a long time and according to my observation, it is true. Israel is a great example of this. God promised the land of milk and honey to the Israelites. If you read the Bible, you already know the story of Exodus. They spent forty years in the wilderness. Even to this day, Israel continues to fight for their right to exist. Their enemies harass them to no end. They cannot let their guard down. Do they give up and leave? Not at all. They believe God is on their side and they are going to guard their gift at all cost.

We also have our own promised land. It could be our job, marriage, family or business. A perfect mate may become a challenge or the ultimate job, a disappointment. A successful business requires long hours or the family may be dysfunctional. In whatever situation, God encourages us to persevere in the face of opposition.

James 5:11 – As you know, we count as blessed, those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance. You have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

James 12:5 – My brothers and sisters, be full of joy when you are going through a hard time. You know that this is a test of your faith and this will give you patience. Let your patience show itself in what you do. Then you will be perfect and complete and will have everything you need. But if any of you need wisdom, you should ask God for it. He is generous to everyone and will give you wisdom without criticizing you.

Prayer When Discouraged  (Taken from the book, “Your Prayer Coach.”)

Elohei Yisrael Moschia – God of Israel, The Savior (Isaiah 45:15)

Psalm 27

LORD (Adonai), You are my light and my salvation, who will I fear?  You are the strength of my life. Of whom will I be afraid? When the wicked, even my enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart shall not fear. I will be confident though war rises against me.

There is one thing that I desire and will seek after. Let me dwell in Your house all the days of my life, LORD (Adonai). I want to behold Your beauty and meditate in Your temple. Hide me in Your pavilion in the time of trouble and in the secret place of Your sanctuary. Set me up upon a rock.

Lift up my head above my enemies who encircle me. I will offer sacrifices of joy in Your tabernacle. I will sing, yea, I will sing praises to You LORD (Adonai).

Hear, O LORD (Adonai) when I cry with my voice. Have mercy on me and answer me.

Spirit of discouragement, come out of me in The Name of Jesus (Yeshua)!

Teach me Your way, O LORD (Adonai), and lead me in a plain path, to avoid my enemies.

Deliver me from the will of my attackers. False witnesses have risen up against me and in their every breath there is cruelty.

I believe I will see Your kindness in the land of the living. I will wait on You LORD (Adonai). I will be courageous, for You will strengthen my heart.

In Jesus’ Name (B’Shem Yeshua). Amen. References: Isaiah 45:15, Psalm 27

It’s Time For Artistic Pursuits

It is time to come out, after forty years in the wilderness. I am talking about my artistic pursuits. The spirit of an artist was kept inside me for a long time.

The earliest that I can remember drawing something, was when I was three years old. I can vividly recall sketching stick figures of people. My Godfather, who walked with a limp visited our house. My mother tended to my little brother while I entertained my Godfather with my drawings. It seemed to me that they were both impressed with my ability.

As a little girl, I went to church armed with pen and paper. I sat with my cousin Nelly, who was a little older than me. We would draw while pretending to listen to the sermon. There were two other girls there who also drew. They were so good that I tried to remember how they drew the whole figure, so I can be good like them. Eventually, drawing could no longer hold our attention and off we would go exploring the neighborhood stores with our cousin, Jun.

I was drawing all the time. I drew pictures of houses, people, flowers, clothes, and artistic fonts. My favorite subjects in school were art and music. My classmates were my models.  They were also my encouragers since they provided the positive reinforcement. I played with my brothers and friends but when downtime came, I could be found sitting in my Dad’s office chair by the window, drawing with all my might.

When I was in high school, I remembered how I always felt a little bit of jealousy toward my classmates and my brothers, who took art as their elective. I thought I should take algebra or Spanish since I am going to college.

I would ultimately embark on a nursing career and forget about art. Nursing became my life. I accepted the fact that I wasn’t meant to become an artist. Doodling was the extent of my artwork. For the next forty years, I focused on my career, finding a husband, and raising my family. It seemed that something was missing so I tried sewing, selling on eBay, becoming a travel agent, writing a book, gardening, crocheting, blogging, and joining Toastmasters International.  Although my artistic side would show through in whatever I was doing, I never really thought of pursuing it. All my children had artistic abilities but my older son, Kurt, became an excellent artist.

In 2016, I became interested in painting. I mentioned it to my children and they encouraged me to pursue it. I always wondered about the outcome.

January 1, 2017, came. I started my first painting from a youtube tutorial. I enrolled at Sofia Art Academy for a 10-hour course. In addition to youtube videos, I also take online classes. I want to free the genie that is inside me!

A Messed Up American Folk Tales-Story Telling

Story Telling- Project #1, Folk Tales

Delivered at: St. Andrews Speakers Club, Plano, Texas

A Messed Up American Folk Tales

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Goldilocks with a little red riding hood.

One morning, Goldilocks asked her mother if she could go to visit her grandmother as it had been awhile since they’d seen each other.

“That’s a good idea,” her mother said.  So they packed a nice basket for little red Goldilocks to take to her grandmother.

On her way, she happened to pass the house of the 3 pigs. She knocked on the door but nobody answered. She decided to go in and she saw 3 bowls of porridge on the table.

Curiosity got the better of her and she tasted the porridge on the first bowl. Ouch, this is too hot!  She tasted the 2nd bowl of porridge. “This is too cold,” she said. So, she tasted the last bowl of porridge.

“Ahhh, this porridge is just right,” she said happily and she ate it all up. After she’d eaten the three pigs breakfasts she decided she was feeling a little tired so she went upstairs to the bedroom.  She lay down in the first bed, but it was too hard.  Then she lay in the second bed, but it was too soft.  Then she lay down in the third bed and it was just right.  Little red Goldilocks fell asleep.

As she was sleeping, the three pigs came home.

“Someone’s been eating my porridge,” oinked the Papa pig!

“Someone’s been eating my porridge,” oinked the Mama pig!

“Someone’s been eating my porridge and they ate it all up!” Oinked oinked the Baby pig.

They decided to go upstairs to the bedroom, Papa pig oinked, “Someone’s been sleeping in my bed,”

“Someone’s been sleeping in my bed, too” oinked the Mama pig.

“Someone’s been sleeping in my bed and she’s still there!” Oinked 3 the Baby pig

Just then, Goldilocks woke up and saw the three pigs, She screamed, “Help!”  And she jumped and ran out of the room.  Goldilocks ran down the stairs, opened the door, grabbed her basket and ran away into the forest. However, instead of going straight to her grandma’s house, she got distracted by the beautiful flowers along the way. While she was admiring them, the big bad bear suddenly appeared. Remembering her mother’s advice not to talk to strangers, she ran as fast as she could to her grandma’s house which was made of sticks. She made it inside the house when they heard a knock on the door. “Grandmother (2x), let me come in”. “No, no, said Grandmother,” not by the hair of my chinny chin chin. Then I will huff and I’ll puff and blow your house down growled the big bad bear.

And that’s what he did and the house fell down. Goldilocks with her little red riding hood and her Grandma run to the house of bricks owned by the 3 little wolves. They ask for their help and they let them in. Then they heard a knock on the door. Little wolves 2, let me come in. Not by the hair of my chiny chin chin, said one of the little wolves. Then I will huff and puff and blow your house down, growled the big bad bear. He tried with all his might but he could not blow it down. Grandmother called 911 and reported the big bad bear. The police came and took him to jail. And they all live happily ever after!

Weather Issues Affecting Special Occassions

Toastmasters Project # 8- Get Comfortable With Visual Aids

Title of Speech: Weather Issues Affecting Special Occasions

Delivered on: 8/6/2016

Once upon a time, we lived in a small house in MN. Our oldest son was turning 6, and we wanted to celebrate his birthday. Due to the tiny size of the house, we decided to have the party at the park. We invited lots of friends. On that day, I woke up and heard thunder! I looked up at the sky, and it was dark like it was going to rain! My heart sank, the boys had been looking forward to this party but holding it at the house was not an option!

I decided to try prayer, and I begged God to hold back the rain. I was doing this, “Please Lord, please, let us have the party. Please don’t let it rain while we have it at the park.” I prayed until it was time to go. The sky remained overcast but it was not raining. We went to the park; the guests arrived, and children played for 3 hrs.

The party was a success. Then we loaded our family in the car and went home. We pulled into the driveway, and as I stepped out of the car, the heaven’s let loose and dumped out the rain in fury!

Fast forward June 2016. Our daughter turned 18, and she wanted to skydive. When the day arrived there was solid overcast at only 3,000 feet above the ground. We headed to the airport anyway in hopes that the weather would improve.

After checking in, and waiting about an hour, Skydive Dallas announced that they were non-operational that day due to an aviation forecast of solid low overcast all day. It was like a ghost town. They said unless there is a miracle, we won’t be jumping today.

My husband wanted to leave and come back another day. My daughter said, “No, Mom will pray first then we will go.”  I walked out of the hangar and stood under the overcast sky. I looked up and began to pray. I said, “Lord of the Sky and The clouds, please open up the heavens so Kristy can jump. I believe you have the power to make it possible.” I continued to pray for the next 20 minutes.

Suddenly a wind kicked up from nowhere. The wind sock lifted up, and a tiny patch of blue sky opened up directly over the airport.

The wind continued to blow, and a huge hole opened with blue sky directly above the runway. Everywhere else remained solid overcast. The next sound we heard was the whine of the turboprop as the aircraft pulled up for the first load of jumpers. Skydive Dallas became operational. Suddenly skydivers came out of the woodwork.

Kristy made her first jump making it all the way up to 14,000 feet. Initially, I asked God to lift the cloud ceiling up to 10,000 feet, but He did more than that!

We received a miracle that day, and everyone was able to partake of the blessing.
